Hey everyone! My name is J. Parker Chapman, and I am a singer/songwriter based out of Gainesville, Fl. The purpose of this website is to generate donations for the charity Smile Train. 100% of all of the proceeds from digital album sales of "Three Or Four Words" are donated to Smile Train. For those of you not familiar with Smile Train, they are an organization that funds cleft palate reconstructive surgeries for underprivileged children in third world countries. They give children the simple gift of smiling, but with it a promising future away from second-class status and emotional abuse from their peers. By purchasing my album, you are directly aiding Smile Train's efforts to make the lives of these unfortunate children blessed!
About the Album:
My vision for "Three Or Four Words" was to portray the emotions people feel while dealing with common scenarios in relationships. Young love is bittersweet and most often painful, but the innocence of such untainted love is beautiful and worth fighting for.
released 09 September 2011
I would like to thank all of the people that made this album possible:
My parents and family, for their love and support of my music over these many years; my sister Ashley, for creating such inspiring album artwork; Robbie Carelli, for assisting in production and providing all of the drum tracks on the album, Trey Turner, for assisting in production, Turner Swann, for providing bass tracks for the album; Jill Brownfield, for playing Tambourine on "Thoughts", and all of my friends who have supported and inspired my music for so long. I couldn't have done it without you.
Thanks for listening!!
